COWS #4 – Juniper Hills – Jan. 17

50 players made the trek to Juniper Hills in Madras for COWS #4 on Jan. 17. The weeks-long freezing fog meant icy roads and kept temps hovering around 30 — but at least there was no wind! We added 4 temp holes to the 9 permanent ones, and played 3 rounds of 13, with each lap using a different tee pad for the permanent holes.

• Jason Lawson shot 1031 golf to win MPO by 9 strokes.

• Brandon Vaughan held off the "new masters" — Shea Babich, Brad Strickler, and Eric Henderson — to win MP40.

• Joshua Marino held off La Pine teenager Kaleb Burns in MA1 to win his second straight COWS.

• In MA50, Kevin Kennedy and Steven Segura went to a playoff after 39 holes, with Kevin coming out on top.
