COWS #7 – Hyzer Pines – Feb. 28

Following the theme of fantastic (but weirdly unseasonable) weather, Hyzer Pines provided a great day of COWS golf. Thanks to Mike Ruzicka for once again taking charge, accommodating 76 players and running it all smoothly. Ryan Lane and crew provided awesome layouts — every hole changed between rounds.

Scott Withers took down MPO for his 168th career win. A handful of players came over from the valley, which was nice to see.

In MP50, J.D. Platt recorded his 2nd career win — and first in 15 years! (since winning masters at the 2011 Disc Go Ball, if you're keeping track).

In MP40, Andy Wade held off a charge from Brad Strickler on the third card (pictured above carrying basket) for a fourth COWS win.

Surprising hardly anyone, Fenton Flanagan shot a 1000-rated 7-down second round (with 4 bogeys!!) to win MA1.

Darin Durham won his first COWS event in MA50. Congrats to the winners!
